great blog thanks ,when I used the original Mer years ago I did the car in stages which meant that the wax cream didn’t get dried on to much and was a dream to buff off.

saw the original slade five times in and around nyc during the mid seventies,,, in fact during this period over the course of a week i saw slade open for aerosmith on their home turf in providence then aerosmith opening for slade at the felt forum, hill is my idol i have patterned all his licks into my guitar playing,,, the best was the anniversary party in kiddeminster , uk,, 900 people show up,, not knowing if they would play,,,, a slade cover band was their,, but at the end of the evening they came marching on to please the crowd with a couple songs,,, i had dinner with the group pictures in the paper the whole bit,,,,, a wonderful guy long live slade and dave i got to end with those three words,,, Keep on Rockin keith marron
